An intrepid team of 3 are just back from our annual visit
to Germany for the Haus Beck, an event which showcases all of the new designs
and concepts which are being released by our German partner, Bauformat and its'
sister company, Burger for the incoming year.
Handless kitchens have featured
strongly from both manufacturers with Burger launching their first handless
option based on the experience of Bauformats' existing portfolio of products in
this style, with the competitive price point we have come to expect from
Burger.

The kitchen designs themselves were very much linear in style with the
emphasis on width. Our maximum size now stands at 2m for a continuous panel ,
concealing multiple individual cabinets depending on design and client
preference. In respect of cabinet fronts,
although high gloss still features strongly, doors in a matt finish were
selected for many of the key displays with stunning results.

Our stand out item
from the show was a new range of matt doors from Bauformat which now forms the
Calais range in earth colours with a
layered black and Steel effect edge. Placed as a price group 2 door, which
positions it as one of Bauformats' most cost effective doors, we expect this to
be one of our strongest products for the new year. More to follow...
